About the Author

Kay Winters was a classroom teacher and a college instructor before becoming a full-time writer. An absolutely wonderfully and beautifully written book! It’s inspiring and heart warming! My 7 year old son loves this book! This book sends the ultimate message about a boy who’s love for reading, passion for learning and a boy that overcomes adversity to become our president! A boy driven by his love for books and learning! What a wonderful message for young boys! They will love this book!

Very much enjoyed by a 6 year old. We had been talking quite a bit in the past 6 months about "Honest Abe". This book looks in on Abe from the time he was a boy and his love of books..... A great story.
