Already I' started it. This book is perfect for absolute beginners who want to learn the programming language of the web. It helped me to learn the basic parts of JavaScript. It's one of the best, very basic clear. Great learning book and great reference book too, a lot of practical examples here. Definitely recommended it.

Great approach and much better than books which look like encyclopedias. This is an awesome guide to learn Javascript.

The voice of the book is excellent. The text is backed up by solid practical practice. The practice questions are short, sweet, and they make you code "properly". I say "properly" because, as you will read, there are many ways to code in javascript, but this book prepares you to do it cleanly and professionally.

I am very enthusiastic about learning coding this way, as an older person who has an in-born love for computer programming but is intimidated by the thought of having to try to remember things I've learned (not nearly as easy to do as when I was young).

This book is well written I purchased it for my brother, to get him a head start on learning computer language because he wants to be a web developer.

I am very happy I found this book. The author has written a very helpful introduction to JavaScript. with this books are excellent for anyone interested in computer programming with a focus in JavaScript. I have had a hard time learning to the programme, to begin with, and even learning JavaScript. What this book offers are quick chapters that immediately jump into live coding for you to practice what you just learned. Now I am actually learning how to program and how to use JavaScript. This is an excellent book for anyone learning to code and wanting to learn JavaScript. Highly recommend.

This is a great book for anyone interested in JavaScript. The beginning goes a bit too deep into JS's muddy background but I guess it's somewhat helpful to know about why JS is chock-full of browser discrepancies.

Definitely a great book for beginners or experienced people like me who always check for the foundations. Enjoyable and simple to read.
