This is all about acrylics, and I think should state that with the title. I use watercolour and pencils of all kinds, and had 1 paragraph on watercolour. Maybe can use a couple of techniques but for the most part a waste of my time and money. Will give to the library.

This book had information in it on techniques to improve my painting with various mediums. It provided me with close-ups on portions of an animal like the head, the eyes and fur, but I wish I would have gotten a pattern for the entire animal instead of portions. I would recommend this book. It is step by step and easy to learn.

LOVE HOW THE BOOK SHOWS YOU INDIVIDUAL PARTS OF AN ANIMAL TO PRACTICE BEFORE GOING HEAD ON INTO A PAINTING. TAILS, FEATHERS, EYES , NOSES AND EARS OF ANIMALS TO PRACTICE FIRST. YOU DON'T FEEL OVERWHELMED TO TRY SMALL STEPS FIRST. SELLER GAVE QUICK SERVICE, BOOK IN SHAPE DESCRIBED WOULD USE AGAIN.

This book is a great How-To and covers a large collection of textures. These instructions are really pretty good. Not as good as perhaps being there in person, but a close second. I did not expect the book to cover multiple media: acrylic, watercolor, oil and pastels.

Very generous with his knowledge of painting animals. In my estimation he gives wvery animal the most expressive eyes, capturing both gentleness & boldness.

I love this book. I was always checking it out of the library. Its full of good useful information. I'm happy to finely have my own copy

I haven't started trying out the steps yet; but this book has details of how to paint wild life textures and appears to be able to follow along and learn
