Good reading , much better than the last book although I believe Nick needs to slow down a bit and re-read before the final outcome. You know.. - Cross a few T’s and dot a few I’s . I could also tell where Nick was falling asleep toward the end of chapter Sixteen when Real Admiral Littlefield ended his life - with a Pop and some Spray before he slumped to the floor. This ending scene could have been a little more dramatic in many ways.. But we did see a Real Admiral in this book so that’s a sign of improvement in the right direction. Granger came through in this book and l approve of his overall character. I believe keeping it real will attract many more readers like myself. Although admittedly , I did skipped all chapters of President Avery as well as VP because those characters were played out in Book 2. Overall this is a well written , well thought out enjoyable read for adults that’s not really too complex or hard to follow. I look forward to see what Nick can do when he puts his mind to it. Maybe Granger will make a comeback someday.

This is the third book of the trilogy and I liked it. Some parts for me could have been better but the military action was fast paced and I liked the use of technology throughout the story. The downside for me is that there are so may twists and turns in the plot and timeline that it can got confusing. I followed it but it just made the storyline and the ending of the book too complex to easily follow.I liked the aspect of certain aliens coming to gather to join forces against a common enemy. The use of technology in the book was interesting and if there is a fourth book I will buy it and read it. I rated this book 4 stars.

I am at a loss for words about how to describe this most fantastic work of true Action Science Fiction that lets you escape, forcing you to wrap yourself around the science at the same time. Hard to explain, but so enjoyable!!!The author should be sitting between the greats; such as, Albert Einstein and Steven Hawking, James Watson and Frederick Sanger...to name a few. Very few authors can keep the continuity of science, physics and biology like Nick Webb can!!!This should be a television series or a movie, but I do not believe a producer could handle, "The Science of Everything", this book has to offer.Nick, Sir. You are either a genius or traveled from the future on a singularity from another galaxy...and just laughing at us Neanderthals!!!Brilliant Work and "Semper Fi" from this Warrior Geek Reader and Forever Fan of yours!!!p.s. Thank you for keeping the bad language down to a minimum too. But, good grief! You don't have to rub it in so much that you know some of your readers don't like it!!! I am a Marine combat veteran; with 8-years of service in the Corps. I had to listen to it every day from the enlisted and NCO ranks. Thank goodness the Marine Corps Officers, and Navy Officers, practiced more language etiquette...both in peace-time and during combat!

I don't usually bother with reviews, but feel this trilogy deserves some accolades. I really enjoyed all three books in the trilogy. I found the characters and the story very compelling. The sci-fi technology was immaginative, unexpected at times and yet still believable. The story itself kept you glued to the book. The politics, subtrfuge, and backroom dialogue added meat to the overall storyline and shows the author's solid grasp of us humans and our shortcomings, as well as strengths. The despicable trait that those who crave power and dominance over their fellow man, with no concern about sacrificing countless lives, is an age old human tragity. I fear the author's predictions that mankind will not "grow up" by the time we reach for the stars is more believable than the idealistic utopian societies displayed in so many sci-fi books, movies, and tv shows.I have one minor suggestion about the editing on the third book; I noticed at least half-a-dozen typographical errors that, as my more literate wife says,"knocks the reader out of the story"'. I'm misstified that a simple word processor didn't catch them.I would love to see a movie series made at the quality level applied to the Harry Potter, Hobbit, and similar movie examples where the storyline of the book is followed as closly as possible. I'm giving this trilogy five stars dispute the apparent rush to press of the third book.

I liked the first 2 in this series a lot, and was looking forward to this. About half way through the book the tone and story kind of started getting boring, toned done and fast tracked. Almost as if the author just wanted to finish and move on. The end of the story was kind of meh to say the truth. I won't spoil anything but its a muddled ending. Kind of reminds me of a video game where the third part of the series just trys to get through it because it can't think of an epic ending that justifies the build up. I'd never claim this book was a very big game changer in sci-fi, i anything, its a combination of Battle Star Galactica and Ender's Game, but it had enjoyable battle sequences that were well detailed and thought out. The in between sections while building up in the first 2 books kind of became predictable and boring honestly. The politics went from a "o you got me" to a "ok, I get it, can we just get to the end game now?"Anyways, it was an enjoyable journey but definitely would say the first 2.5 books were worth the read. Slough through the end just to finish but I'm hoping Nick's next entry in the series has the same passion as he put into the first two.
