Sure, there may be things one would identify with in this book, but the insight was dismal. Grammatically challenged.

Author tries too hard to be hip by using vulgarity. I was actually surprised to see that the author holds a PhD because of how poorly it's written. If you're expecting an informative approach to resolving anxiety, look elsewhere.

As a person who gets anxious thinking and talking about my anxiety behaviors, and who also uses humor to cope, I really liked this book. The conversational tone (read "vulgarity") was so much easier to get through than dry, professionally written books. It felt like my best friend telling me to tell my anxiety to eff off. If you tend to clutch your pearls when you hear profanity, this may not be the book for you. But the information within is scientifically founded and useful.

Anxiety is real and anyone who wants to read about this condition, is looking for serious information. They don't need to be assaulted with vulgar language in their serach. Sadly, the author, who does have good information to share, didn't value her ideas over how to communicate. To bad - anything she wanted to say has to be filtered and it's not worth the time. I had hoped to recommend this book but after reading it, I think I'll pass on this! Perhaps if there is a second printing, the editors could advise the author to do a 'clean up' of her language!

I really enjoyed reading/listening to “unf**k your brain” so I decided to download this book as well. this book is more or less the same as her other book, same stories, comparisons etc.. so if you have already read her other book I would not bother purchasing this one!
